The US Navy is working on a new platform for hunting pirates - 'The Ghost'. The jet powered shallow water craft is intended to speed along using 'super cavitation' to reduce the drag of it's pontoon hulls. The central hull suspended in the air can accommodate a variety of weapons (torpedos, gatling guns, lasers, etc) all while looking very menacing.
