What's in your pocket?

New technology will be able to scan people to the molecular level from 50 meters (about 164 feet) away. The laser based scanners are said to be an order of magnitude faster and more sensitive - literally a million times faster - able to do a detail analysis on surface and content. They should be in service within the next year or two.
