The Russian company 'Special Materials Ltd' of St. Petersburg is working on a squirt gun. Well, to be more exact, a water canon that can deliver short bursts of water with a lot of 'kinetic energy'. Using water rather than traditional beanbags, you can avoid some messy side effects - like broken ribs.
