Here's a prototype for a social networking tool. It's an electronic ring that stores contact information similar to a rolodex. The wearer transfers data by literally 'shaking hands'. The contact data is stored in the ring. The data can be read by sliding a display card onto the ring later. No more forgetting 'what's-his-name's' details.
