The latest trend in robotics seems to be the 'tactical thrown robot' - small robots tossed into a situation used to recon an area. Case in point, the 'SCORP' - the newest from Swiss manufacturer Novatiq. The tiny bot can climb stairs and slink under small objects. It can be fitted with a variety of add ons and small payloads.
