Serious putty...
In the labs at the University of Georgia, scientists have been working on regenerating broken bones faster. Using a 'fracture putty' that can provoke a faster healing of bone cells, they've been able to have mice up and around in a couple of days. Current testing is progress on larger animals - soon to be followed by human clinical trials.
