When scuba diving, it's usually time to surface when you've run out of air. Using 'rebreather' technology, it's possible to scrub the exhaled air, and recycle it. This allows the diver to stay down for a very long time. The Poseidon Mk IV Discovery is now available for non-military types to do exactly that. Now if someone could develop that anti-wrinkley finger technology, we'd be all set.
