UK based weapons maker BAE has won a contract with the US Army to develop 'Micro Autonomous Systems and Technology' or MAST. Basically, it's those creepy little spider robots that were seen in the movie 'Minority Report'. Swarms of little crawling robots would beam info back to a central location for analysis.
