You could spend a lot of time fixing what's wrong with your country, or you could just start your own. The folks at 'Seasteading Institute' are here to help you figure out the finer points. The institute is all about setting up autonomous 'countries' offshore. There's a lot of work to be done setting up stuff like currency, constitutions, and so on... but, it could be really rewarding. Plus, you get to design your own flag and pick the national anthem.
